12 THINGS YOU NOW HAVE TIME TO DO!


T's the season of Covid-19, yes I call it a season because it shall come to pass! And surely you must have read enough of the do's and don'ts of quarantine and this is just not it. I choose to look at the positive side of it, not that it has been easy. Actually, I have been in a deep funk since March not knowing what to do most of the time besides wanting to do a million things at the same time. So I just had to 'mum myself' as Beyonce said in her Elle interview and bounce back. I am still on the process of crawling away out it and still not yet there but mos mos Big Pin sang.

So, with too much time on our hands #StayHome what can you do? (in no chronoloical order)


1.Read.Remember the links you saved on FB, Twitter,instagram and blogs its time now to read them. You saved them for a reason, go through them and learn a little.


2. Refresh your driving skills. With the ongoing cessation the motors are just parked with nowhere to go, get the keys refresh your driving to the shop and back, yeah no many options here.


3.Get out those noted down recipes and try them! You know you have been pinning/bookmarking and jolting down recipes. find them and try throwingdown in the kitchen. If it ain't your thing DIYs are good way to be productive. Custom make your vase/ remodel your kitchen/spruce up your bedroom whatever just do it.


4. Catch up with your online courses you know you have been too busy to finish up. Learn new skills.


5.Be socially active, you have all the time now! Open a linkendin account, snapchat or the current sensation tiktok.


6. Work out bbe! No don't have to go to the gym just strecth every morning flex those muscles, it is a good feeling so why not?


7. Journal, darling journal did you know so much of our rich African history was erased, why?Because there was no reference. So write down your discoveries, goals and dreams.


8. Relax, get your beauty sleep you ain't going nowhere tomorrow or are you? #StayHome #StaySafe


9.Communicate. Call up, cucu(friend/wanna be friend/colleague and see how they are fairing. Or call up your therapist and pour your heart out.


10. Donate, are you privilegde enough, find a charity/fund organization to help others who are going hungry every other day due to this global pandemic interupting our day to day economic ventures.


11. Binge on your all time favourites, Netflix and chill well there is Showmax, Youtube, Startimes and Go TV pick and choose.


12. Love love yourself hun! Scrub/exfoliate/trim/do that makeup/affirm yourself/talk dirty to yourself/excersice and mostly iportantly breathe,can't emphasize enough (click here to know why it's important).


With these few words I'll pen it down here but honestly no pressure, just do you!
